Absolutely – Chef is more than happy to cater to individual needs. He understands the importance of certain ingredients for some folk. Many of our regular diners have personal tastes that we adapt our menu for to enhance their dining experience.
We ask for $100 deposit and then final payment on the night of service please.
Absolutely, a special occasion is a special occasion – 1 or 10 people; we provide the same excellent service to you. It is cooked in your home or venue of your choice; nothing is too tricky for Chef on Call.
Some people pay for 1 person’s full dining experience; others give a gift of a certain amount and the recipients understand that they will be paying for the balance of the amount. This is all discussed prior to dinner, so there are no unpleasant surprises.
Yes, we are really pleased to announce that we are providing a cocktail and canape menu – please look on the website for the details of this brand new service. Our mixologist (barman) is very experienced and when combined with @Chefoncallnz’s Chef Manu, will take your entertaining to new heights.
This is a full luxury experience and will be costed differently from the dinners to allow for the mixologist skills for 4 hours.

Chef will do the shopping and prep of your favourite bbq cuts; you relax with your mates and then enjoy the succulent sausages, steak and other delights. These are served on individual platters with a couple of salads – again of your choice. Couldn’t be easier for you and your friends to host that back yard barbi with a twist – Chef On Call’s magic touch; delicious.
This is priced according to the cuts of meat that you request. We constantly source the best cuts for the best price and pass on those savings to you. We calculate a price per person for the meat, salads and service and we will chat with you about that when we visit with you to discuss all your requirements.
No. We are not caterers, however we do provide a number of services for smaller groups e.g. birthday’s, anniversaries, funerals – anywhere that a small number of people come together and would like to enjoy fine food.
Yes. Chef does do grazing tables where we combine artisan products onto platters set out in a beautiful way. These platters are sufficient for about 4 – 6 people and are costed according to what is selected e.g. charcuterie (cold meats), cheeses, fruit, sushi (home made), Russian blinis (home made) etc. (the platters start at approximately $50 – 60 for a small).
